Hi all,



This issue has been solved. 



My ISP had not informed me that they installed SNORT (network intrusion detection system) on the server recently. 

For whatever reason it thought that a packet that contained the word "Net*" followed by the word "user" should be blocked.



Sorry to have wasted your time.

As I said I am impressed with Roller and am glad I can continue to use it.
