UTF-8 source makes everybody happy and in the long run is the simplest solution. One developer can work with en_GB.UTF-8 and another work with de_DE.UTF-8 and the encoding is the same! AFAIK there is no other way to share one encoding across multiple locales. When java itself works with unicode it makes sense too. ~mck -- Give me ambiguity or give me something else. | semb.wever.org | sesat.no | sesam.no |
