Hi,

I have some recommendation about this requirement.

For example, if the due date is 2009/1/1,  user may be able to setup two or three due date notification time or even Over Due notification

such as one week before due date, 3 days before due date, 1 day before due date. 

When these time arrived, the email notification will be triggerred and all assignedTo and assignedCC members will be notified.

The notification title maybe something like [Issue Over Due Notification].

Also, for overdue issue searching, the system will compare current date with the defined due date.

When we search over due issues, current date later than due date will be selected from database.

In our project we need to trigger some automatic activites from Scarab.
for example when a specific issue is not processed within a predefined 
time interval we need to send a reminder email to the current associated

i tried to sum up my preliminary ideas in a first proposal.

Since this is certainly something bigger to  implement, i want to
carefully listen to your opinions. Maybe i can solve all this easier,
or you can give me some advice, how to implement such a thing.
I have not yet checked for possible duplicates. There may be
something in the selfhost about this field...

But for now i need to go to bed ;-)
