Yes, it should go into the 22 branch, but hey, i can't work for 24 hours a

I will do that later. but it is also an api change, better said a revert of
an api change, which was
introduced a few weeks ago. since then the functionality for assigning users
to an issue was not
showing the correct user attributes.

BTW this broken functionality was caused by our lack of knowledge about
which java methods
are called from velovity. Maybe we should make scarab throwing an exception,
whenever velocity
does NOT find an API-function. At the moment the application continues
silently...

no, i don't think, that the self host should be used as a test bed for the

Since trunk has got the same bugs as the 0.22 branch, i think it is much
better to keep
the selfhost in synch with trunk, get all enhancements "life" immediately
and such keep health 
of trunk as high as possible. 
And meanwhile, while fixing bugs in trunk, keep in mind that possibly 0.22
should be fixed too.

Look at it from the "marketing" view: the selfhost is the only system in the
world, which gets
at least a small attraction by the scarab comunity. So it is the only place
where people can
see whats going on. Not only by reading the issues, but by seeing the issue
tracker.
And i can assure you, if my current plans get implemented, Scarab will
become more attractive,
at least from its look and feel ;-)
