Hi Mick, we did this for two reasons: I couldn't find any evidence on the mailing list why the version was changed from the established 1.0bXX scheme to 0.21 And 0.XX (and even 1.0bXX) doesn't make sense in our opinion, because we (and I think a lot others do) use it in production since 1.0b15 without major issues in the last 8+ years. So I think a 1.x version is absolutely reasonable, especially as we put a lot effort in stabilizing and fixing the branch... But it's just a RC status/release, so **anyone is invited to give his opinion/vote**, and yes we should have asked about this beforehand and will remind to do so in the future regards Frank Am 06.05.2012 13:19, schrieb Mick Semb Wever: > On Sun, 2012-05-06 at 09:16 +0200, Mick Semb Wever wrote: >> where was the discussion and consensus to jump from 0.21 to 1.0.22 ? > I see that it was somewhat alluded to in the previous thread > http://scarab.tigris.org/ds/viewMessage.do?dsForumId=455&dsMessageId=2444109 > > > ~mck > > ------------------------------------------------------ http://scarab.tigris.org/ds/viewMessage.do?dsForumId=455&dsMessageId=2958841 To unsubscribe from this discussion, e-mail: [[email protected]].
