Hey, the wiki still exists!!! But you are right, it has not been maintained since long time and it has been password protected, so that these idiots are kept away from it. I wonder, how other wikis and blogs work perfectly without this sort of attacks... Probably they are auto scanned for compromising content or something ? So here is my offer: I am about to upgrade my company-wiki to the newest version of JSP-Wiki anyways. We could awake the scarab wiki, clean it up and setup up a nicer layout... One word about which wiki to use: I like the idea of using a Java-based Wiki, although there are many many python and php-based products out in the world, which look much better. But its just that my company is 80% pure java plus a bit c/c++ so JSPWiki fits best. Ok, having said this, i am still open for other suggestions. (We tried MoinMoin long time ago, but for some reason we never reached the point to get it productive, i don't remember why). Jorge, i remember, you did something in that direction ? Any comments ? regards, hussayn Jean-François El Fouly wrote: > Johannes Hoechstaedter a écrit : >> :) >> The idea would be a wiki for scarab. >> > There was one, managed by Hussayn Dabbous, and it has been awfully > spammed with all kinds of porn URL's. > It has not been possible to find a good compromise between usability and > security since noone had the time and energy to make the police all the > time. > > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] > For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected] >
