Johannes; I did send some draft proposal to the list on that matter some months ago... It would be a great feature (I even draft embedding the smtp part, IIRC)

Hi,

if I understand it right, scarab is ready to send mails, but can not 
receive mails. As use case I think of adding a ticket by email.
