Indeed! http://sesat.no/scarab/ is running with LDAP authentication and 
trunk (0.22).

Have you started tomcat with 
-Djava.security.auth.login.config=<some-path>/jaas.conf

?


I had some problems getting it first to work. The logfiles offered a 
minimal amount of information.
I also had a firewall/network problem which was evident by the scarab 
login screen taking a very long time before failing.
