Though I don't have anything against going >1.4, I'd like to keep interfaces homogeneous if possible (i.e., being consistent in the use of jdk features) ----- Mensaje original ----- De: Hussayn Dabbous <[email protected]> Enviado: sábado, 27 de junio de 2009 14:07 Para: [email protected] Asunto: giving up support of java-1.4 and below Hi; I think, we can now safely forget about java 1.4 as the sun-jdk-1.4 is no longer maintained. I have started cleaning up the code around NotificationManager and added some generics (List<AttributeCondition> ... etc) This is a tremendious help for getting clean and understandable code ;-) I am not sure if we should stick to java-1.6, hence i am currently working in java-1.5 compatibility mode. Please complain, if you think you got any serious argument against this move. regards, Hussayn -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/giving-up-support-of-java-1.4-and-below-tp24232743p24232743.html Sent from the Scarab - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------ http://scarab.tigris.org/ds/viewMessage.do?dsForumId=456&dsMessageId=2365942 To unsubscribe from this discussion, e-mail: [[email protected]]. ------------------------------------------------------ http://scarab.tigris.org/ds/viewMessage.do?dsForumId=456&dsMessageId=2365980 To unsubscribe from this discussion, e-mail: [[email protected]].
