Hi;

To which version of Scarab are you refering ?
If you work with trunk, it may be possible that
you encounter performance problems. Currently there
are a few open threads from me, which i have not yet fully
tested and sometimes a myself also see performance loss,
but since the performance seems to be varying depending on
time i currently suspect my vm environment does not give
enough cpu shares to the scarab server...

It may be a broken cache too. Or missing indices on the database ?
Can you setup a database monitor and find out where exactly the
performance loss takes place ?
Also during startup of scarab do you see any warnings about "could not
initialise cache ..." ?
Then sometimes simply restartiung Scarab cures that problem. I never
found out why
this happens occasionaly. Jorge ? Do you have an idea here?

The host machine uses Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 SP2 and has four virtual machines. All Virtual Machines are Windows Server 2003 SP2 with all available updates installed. Evrething was fine.

We are experiencing serious performance problems, even for simple tasks such creating a new issue on scarab, that is taking too much time to complete. Other application that uses a MySQL database in the same machine and the same Tomcat Server is working fine. The hardware configuration is Xeon single 3.06 processor with 2.0 Gbytes RAM, 72 Gb SCSI 10000 RPM disks. The S.O. is Windows Server 2003 SP2 with all available updates. Please someone help-me, cause my users are complaining all the time. Thaks in advance!
