Thanks both of you, Jorge and Hussein. About your questions:
The version of Scarab is B20
The new server is not a carbon copy of the old one, because i compiled scarab instead of just copyed the entire file System.
The Windows Logs show no errors.
The Tomcat logs shows some warnings that was present in the old server also.

I increased the value of the key buffer parameter in MysSQL from the the original 129 Mb to 512 Mb. Nothing changed. Any ideas?

Assunto: Performance Problem

Hi, all!!

I recently moved scarab from one machine to another. In the old scenario i had Scarab installed in one virtual machine and MySQL installed on another. The host machine uses Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 SP2 and has four virtual machines. All Virtual Machines are Windows Server 2003 SP2 with all available updates installed. Evrething was fine.
The new machine is a dedicated hardware, but both Scarab and MySQL are installed on this machine. We are experiencing serious performance problems, even for simple tasks such creating a new issue on scarab, that is taking too much time to complete. Other application that uses a MySQL database in the same machine and the same Tomcat Server is working fine. The hardware configuration is Xeon single 3.06 processor with 2.0 Gbytes RAM, 72 Gb SCSI 10000 RPM disks. The S.O. is Windows Server 2003 SP2 with all available updates. Please someone help-me, cause my users are complaining all the time. Thaks in advance!
