Hi Jay, Have you exported a pre-existing set of issues to review the XML? Scarab is= nice in that the export and import XML files work identically. I had to do= this a few times to figure out what I needed. Do you have your activity-sets/activity-set grouped properly around each co= mment?=20 I know I had trouble when I didn't assign an ID element for each and every = object that has one in an export. For example, each <activity> element is e= xpected to have an ID element also, which can be a number, or prefix a numb= er with a string for Scarab to autogenerate a number.=20 There is a build attribute that you must turn on for local attachment impor= ting to work. Since I can't find it just now on my instance, perhaps someon= e else can chime in. Bear in mind the source attachments have to be listed = with local paths to the instance, not necessarily to the location you run t= he import script from.=20 Hope that helps, Nathan From: Chang, Jay [mailto:[email protected]]=20 Sent: Thursday, August 26, 2010 4:20 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Scarab XML import Hi All, I tried to import a series of issues to Scarab using XML import, those issu= es may contain comments, attachments, and personnel assignments.=C2=A0 Both= the comment and personnel elements only worked for the very first issue th= at contains the comment or the personnel element and the rest of the issues= did not import either element at all.=C2=A0 That is only one comment eleme= nt and one personnel element got imported for the entire importing issues.= =C2=A0 Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?
