We don't have that functionality yet, but I think it would be really useful, so I'd like to add it. On first thought, it seems like it would be a good project to do outside of SecurityFilter so that it could also be used with container-managed authentication. However, I don't know of any good way to force a login to container-based security. Since we do have that access with SecurityFilter, it probably makes sense to do it as part of this project. This has been added to the RFE section (by someone -- thanks!), so progress on this task can be tracked here: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=699963&group_id=594 84&atid=491167 -Max By automatic logon, I mean that feature of some web sites where you have a checkbox near your username/password that says "Remember Me" so you don't have to log on again for a while. In the example realm filters included in the source code, a username/password is always used. You also don't have access to the HttpServletRequest or Response to get at the cookies that automatic logon is usually implemented with. Is this possible w/ SecurityFilter? ken ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: The Definitive IT and Networking Event. Be There!
