Adding digest method

Hi all,

I was just about to implement my own digest auth filter, when I
stumbed across this project.  I've always wanted to write something
along these lines, since container managed security has no pluggable
authenticator API.  Everything else about the servlet spec is so well
specified, I never understood why the didn't got the last mile for
security.

Anyways, how hard would it be to add support for a digest auth method?
I took a quick glance through the code and noticed that <auth-method>
is never even checked.  I thought the current implementation can use
form or basic.  Or is only form supported?
