Multi Stage test & NIO question

I'm using the 3.0 release of SEDA from Sourceforge and after compiling the
source code, I run Sandstorm with the configuration file from the multistage
test directory.  I see the aSocket layer starting (using JDK1.4 java.nio
package).  Thread pools start for the Read, Listen and Write stages for the
aSocket...and the aDisk layer starts.  Then nothing happens.  No port is
opened to listen on (I even tried specifying the port in the config file).

Am I missing something???  The basic test example runs fine.
