To all users: We are trying to compile(using cygwin) on windows.. and nio has anyone successfully done this task The gcc compiler does not (can not) create dll and we have tried unsucessfully to change the default behavior so that dlls are created by a Visual C++ compiler. Unfortunately that does not seem to be all there is to it. We need this to happen so that we can develop an application that can be distributed on both the Windows and Linux platforms. We are not familiar with all that is going on so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
