I found quartz's mention of the use of Thread.stop() method interesting. Should I regard the SEDA-1 code as demonstration code and await SEDA-2 for the production code? Speaking of which... when browsing the SEDA-2 cvs tree, it seems to be a little quiet. Has development been taken offline, or has it really been 8+ months since any work was done? I'd like to know as I'm trying to persuade the company that I work for to use SEDA-like patterns and it would be useful to know whether it would be advisable to use SEDA-1 or wait for SEDA-2. I would also like to offer help with SEDA-2, if I can prove myself worthy! I'm sorry if this is a FAQ, but I've searched the Avalon archives and browsed the SEDA archives and cannot find much that mentions where things are going. If I've got to start from scratch, so be it. On the other hand, if there is some way that I can help an existing project along, I'd much rather go down that path.
