SISC 1.8.6-rc (a release candidate) is released and available from the
website. This release fixes a handful of bugs found since the last
stable release. A couple of the fixes are invasive enough to warrant a
release candidate before the next stable release (which would be 1.8.7).

  * Stream (de)serialization is now tail recursive just as ordinary
    serialization.
  * Fixed problem dispatching to classes that existed only at release
    time.
  * Fixed string comparison in SRFI 13
  * Fixed a space leak in serialization due caused by improper VLR
    recycling in |apply|.
  * Fixed char-whitespace? which returned #f for #\return
  * Fix eval when used with strict-r5rs enabled.
