SISC 1.11.1-beta has been released and is avaiable from the SISC
website. This release addresses a number of bugs found in the alpha
release. There is one known serialization bug that appears to be
difficult to trigger, and so wasn't allowed to block the beta release.
It will be addressed before the release candidate, at which point one
final bugfix release will be made in the 1.9 series.

* Fixed bug in logand with big integers, and a corresponding
  missing i18n message (credit to Allesandro Colomba for spotting this
  one)
* More correctly and efficiently fixed bug 1181453.
* Made trace/untrace more robust to outside redefinition.
* Applied a fix for SRFI-42 found on comp.lang.scheme.
* Added some missing exports from SRFI-35 (thanks to Andrew Wilcox)
* Fix a garbage leak in closures which could result
  in unnecessary values on the stack, leaking into serialization
  (thanks again to Mr. Colomba)
* Fix an arity bug in vector-fill! (1195709)
* Fix an error handling problem with list-ref (1210879)

Enjoy!
