What is pack/unpck? Sisc supports binary IO: http://sisc.sourceforge.net/manual/html/ch05.html#BinaryIO You can serialize objects to disk. With a few additional functions, which I posted to the user list a month or so ago on the Siscweb thread, you can serialize to java arrays and sisc binary buffers.
