Initial Comment:
It looks like the reference implementation of srfi-43
(vector library) has acquired several bug fixes which
are missing from the version included in sisc.

One of them I just stumbled across:

This is fixed in the reference implementation, along
with numerous other bugs.

We should upgrade to the new version, which is
unfortunately not straightforward because our
implementation contains several sisc-specific tweaks.
