Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Tony Garnock-Jones (surazal) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Better defaults for annotations/debugging-symbols Initial Comment: The defaults for emit-annotations and emit-debugging-symbols (etc.) should be #t rather than #f - so that most applications get good error reporting by default, and applications that genuinely no longer care about error reporting need to take an active step to turn it off. I'm seeing error traces with many ?:?:? in them, because (presumably) I have the emit-annotations setting somewhere *after* the files are loaded by accident. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=379534&aid=1454540&group_id=23735 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
