Category: None Group: None Status: Open Priority: 5 Submitted By: Denys Rtveliashvili (rtvd) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Introspection for records Initial Comment: I would like to ask for a new feature: an introspection for records. Sometimes it would is very useful to find out what are fields of an arbitrary record. Imagine a situation where one needs to describe a content of a public accessible record fields. That would require an ability to find out what fields exist and a possibility to access those of them which have accessors. In Java I would use a Reflection API for that. As far as I see, it is not possible to do that for records in Scheme. At least, the original SRFI does not provide this functionality. But I would be happy even if this functionality exists in SISC alone, because this feature is planned to be used only in SISC-based software.
