SISC 1.15.2 and 1.16.0-alpha Released

SISC 1.15.2 (stable) and 1.16.0-alpha have been released and are 
available from the SISC website.  

Both releases fix the recently reported problem handling null characters 
on input in certain cases.  Thanks to Dan Muresan for spotting the 
problem.

The 1.16.x series introduces only one major change, the removal of 
generic I/O in favor of a simpler custom-io module which allows one
to create any Scheme port by providing functions to implement
a small number of primitives.  The entire I/O hierarchy was 
also altered to make it more compatible with Java, so it is now
possible to use Scheme ports in Java code and vice-versa quite easily.
The switch to custom-io returns the bulk of the I/O stack to
simpler, direct native implementations, improving performance by 10-30 
times, especially for tight loops such as parser code.  Heavy users of
SXML should be pleased.
