Common Lisp and SISC/Scheme

I recently came across SISC and my LISP-nostalgia kicked in :-)

SISC is fascinating (because it is Scheme that is well designed to tap
into all the Java-based code out there)

Thanks to Scott Miller, Matthias Radestock and all others who are making
this happen.

We may actually be dealing with the next big thing in scripting!

I have a question about Common Lisp and Sisc. There are a lot of
interesting AI programs that are written in Lisp. Is there anything
available that actually lets you convert a Lisp program into a Scheme
code - short of manually rewriting it. Or takes you almost there with
some manual conversion?

My research so far is as follows :

Dorai Sitaram wrote a scheme to lisp converter
(http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/dorai/scmxlate/scm2cl.html)

Tom dean (from brown university) has a program (I can dig up the link if
someone likes) that does limited conversion.
