Talk:  Heterogenious but functional content engineering framework, by Kirill Lisovsky


Abstract

 This presentation is dedicated to the role of functional tools,
languages and techniques in design and implementation of enterprise-class
content engineering solutions. We will pay special attention to streaming,
the key technique for effective processing of large volumes of content.

 We will discuss Scheme-based XML processing tools and techniques,
and analyze their applicability in typical content engineering tasks.

 We also will consider design and possible implementations of programming
language-neutral content engineering framework based on open protocols
and functional programming paradigm.
