This is an old issue, but I think the question is a new one. compile-file/load/eval takes a very long time. Even though I have done many hacks to minimize the compile-file time (automatic lambda-lifting is even one of them to divide functions into smaller files!), it sometimes feels like most of my time working with sisc is waiting for compile-file to finish. Is there something in the source of sisc which I can edit, that will make compile-file/load/eval spend less time? It doesn't matter that much if the resulting code runs slower. I will be grateful for any hints. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
