Some might consider the timing rude or annoying, but it's certainly
not useless. The willingness of implementors to follow the proposed
R6RS is very much in question, and this potential splintering of the
community is very relevant to the voting.
SISC is one of the more interesting Scheme implementations for a
variety of reasons including it's focus on following the R5RS standard,
so an authoritative answer would be most useful.
