Finding java constructors in an applet

Hi,

I'd like to instantiate some java instances in an applet using s2j.
Code that works for me in a local interpreter isn't working in the
applet, and java-class-declared-constructors returns #f, so it looks
to me like a permissions problem. Is there any way around it?
