I define it in the script that provides the main logic for the  
servlet.  Both that script, and the initialisation function to call  
are set in the webapp configuration file.  That startup is in a class  
JettySchemeServer or TomcatSchemeServer, which you can look at in the  
project CVS at

The main application logic, if you're interested, is in src/main/scm/ 
quaestor.scm
