RE: problem with deployment

Hi Sai,

What you are describing sounds like a configuration problem in the
machines and we need more information to pin the problem down.

It cannot be a classloading problem because the examples are in the
classpath of the daemons by default.

Have you tried all the steps that Patrick described? What did it
happened?

Can you "ping" both machines? Some times there are problems with DNS
resolution due to miss-configurations that could affect the deployment.

You could try the deployment using the IP address of the machines
instead of their host names. 

Another thing that you could try is to start both daemons and then try
to connect the management console (needs a graphical display):

sfManagementConsole - h knscsl018

and 

sfManagementConsole - h knscsl020

from each of them to see if the management console can access to the
daemons.

Do you have any kind of firewall that could interfere with RMI
communications between the two machines?
