RE: Prob with eclipse pligin

We have tried to reproduce your problem in our HPUX systems with no
luck. The plug-in woks properly for us.  

 

Our guess is that it could be OS or Eclipse configuration problem.

 

Have you checked the Eclipse log files to see if there is anything there
that could give as more clues?

 

Did you test Eclipse before installing the plug-in?

Hello group,
I am very new to smartfrog.I really need to solve it becoz i am struck
up here for may days.I was working with smartfrog at command level,with
x-windows and tried to deploy the applications both at local/remote
hosts.No probs at all.Now problem started after i tried with Eclipse
IDE,.

My sys info:HP-UX  B.11.22 U ia64 
Then eclispe depot from :Eclipse A.04.00-3.0 http://software.hp.com/-
InternetExpress depot-Ver 4.00
Smartfrog-3.04.014 & eclipse plugin from smartfrog site..
Java-jdk1.4
X-manager Xmanager(R) version 1.3.9

My prob is:after i start smartfrog daemon from eclipse IDE,i am not able
to run example.sf file.Th screen just freezes showing the pop-up screen
running daemon.I am able to work on that pop-up screen alone.If i click
on the exit at that new window,it closes&then normal IDE window
appears.This is the same case even when i work with 2 hosts.when i start
the daemon at one x window session...all others screen freezes except
that new pop-up window(i can't even work with another x-widow.mm i just
tried to start the daemon at one host&execute the example.sf at another
console.But same err  bugs me).

Is that any problem with my x window or eclipse or shd i have to set any
parameter or am i missing some basic concept??
