If you want to use the m2 stuff in common-xml, you need this jar in ant_home/lib http://www.ibiblio.org/maven2/org/apache/maven/maven-artifact-ant/2.0-SNAPSHOT/maven-artifact-ant-2.0-20050608.072503-1-dep.jar m2-install (in core/build.xml, components/build.xml and individual component builds will build the JAR file and copy it (with a checksum and a zero-dependency .pom file) into the right location in the local directory. There is also a mini-repository in components/lib. This is for stuff that is not in the main m2 repository (http://www.ibiblio.org/maven2/), but which we can redistribute. We cannot put sun jars like mail.jar or activation.jar in there, even if we wanted to, because of redist rules. I think. the XML and CDL components use the m2 repository as a way of sharing jars without dumping stuff in sf-home/lib, which is the classic approach. You will need the jar above installed in ant if you want to use either of these. -steve ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: NEC IT Guy Games.
