We recently released version 0.4 of our SmartFrog component collection sfOpenlabTools. These components help with tasks typically encountered when trying to (un)install software on Linux clusters: downloading of files, installation of rpms, manipulation of "key-value" configuration files (e.g. adding/removing an entry to /etc/services), distribution of SSH keys. Currently we provide 11 components, now also with extended documentation in PDF. Have a look at our homepage: http://openlab-mu-internal.web.cern.ch/openlab-mu-internal/openlab-I_Projects/opencluster/SmartFrog/SmartFrog_main.asp For a quick look at the documentation: http://smartfrog.web.cern.ch/smartfrog/download/sfOpenlabTools/0.4/sfOpenlabTools.pdf Best regards, Andreas -- Andreas Unterkircher IT Department CERN CH-1211 Geneva 23 http://cern.ch/openlab ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
