Hang when using java.net.useSystemProxies=true

Attached is a simple test case where I found a hang when using the 1.5
system RMI proxies.  The test is trying to shut down an SF daemon.  It
works when java.net.useSystemProxies=false.  When
java.net.useSystemProxies=true, the system hangs (stack trace below).

 

Quite odd.  To run the test, put the attached jar in the SF class path,
and run sfRun/Start /test/test.sf.

 

I can, of course, live without the system proxies.  But I was curious as
to whether this is a real bug somewhere or if this is a problem on my
side.
