Re: sfManagementConsole & SFScriptExecutionImplnot being Serializable

Use a console deployed directly in the host where SFScriptExecution is
deployed and it will talk to it directly.

You will find that any component that contains Streams cannot be
serialized.

SFScriptExecution uses java exec() that cannot be serialized and that is
why you get that message.

BTW, does the console crash or throws and exception?

Hello,

We're having some trouble here with the sfManagementConsole : an
attribute of one of our components is
  shell LAZY ATTRIB myShell;
where myShell is an instance of SFScriptExecutionImpl.
So, when the management console tries to display our component, it
crashes with an RMi exception, as SFScriptExecutionImpl is not
Serializable.

What could we do as a workaround ? Plus, I thought that all Prims were
supposed to be Serializable ?
