Steve Loughran commented on SFOS-19:
------------------------------------
Looking at the code in Sequence.sfTerminatedWith(), the defect may be more subtle.
1 .When sequence gets told of a child terminating, it starts the next child in the list.
2. when sequence is told to terminate from above, it terminates its running children.
If this is the case, it is not that it detaches from its children, but that it starts a new child when in terminates. That is, the orphan is not the child that is running, it is the next one in the sequence. Xavier -is this what looks like is happening?
assigning to me as part of my ongoing workflow work.

> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: .sfCore
> Affects Versions: 3.10.000
> Reporter: Xavier Grehant
> Assigned To: Julio Guijarro
> Priority: Minor
>
> Terminating a Sequence normally or abnormally does not terminate its children.
> I loose track of them because they're cut off the ProcessCompound but their stuff (e.g the Xen VM their children components are supposed to shutdown on termination) stays, whereas it doesn't stay under a terminated Compound.
