>From now on we also recommend everyone to use SmartFrog with Java 1.5. We will still keep backwards compatibility with 1.4 in the core and we won't use any 1.5 specific new features there for a while. The reasons for this change are that 1.5 is now mature and fixes some jvm memory/synchronization problems that are present in 1.4 and also most people are moving to 1.5 as there default platform.
