release 3.11.0000beta1 is SVN commit #4328

I'm about to start uploading the release artifacts to the various 
repositories; SVN repository at commit #4328 built on Java1.5 is the 
release marker (no, I havent made a tag yet in SVN, because I have to 
set up the entire repository image first, and that takes time indeed)
