length of attributes

Is there a restriction on the length of attributes in SmartFrog ? (I'm 
using SmartFrog.3.04.004.beta). One of my components has the following 
attribute:

var_infoProviderHostname "host1.cern.ch";

(the component is an extension of other components and it is used within a 
Sequence). I get the following erro when deploying:

 - FAILED when trying DEPLOY of ,  [writeConfFiles.sf]
   Error:
    SmartFrogLifecycleException:: sfStart: HOST

    cause: SmartFrogDeploymentException: unnamed component.

However when I shorten the attribute to 

var_infoProviderHost "host1.cern.ch";

deployment works. Is the attribute string too long ?
