Hi scott.

Yes,

1.  We've done some stuff with the JEdit editor; look in 
core/extras/sfgui to find it
2. There's an eclipse plugin in core/extras/eclipse
3. Someone's done some netbeans stuff too. That was the one I liked the 
most.

I'm not using any, as I'm an intelliJ user, and tend to stick to that 
tool in text edit mode

What might be interesting here would be something to view/manage the 
deployed state of some machines; we have the Java app but that isn't how 
we expect people to run in production, where command line mode logging 
somewhere is more likely.
