I would keep in spice and brand spice as a more generic component 
repository, both of server-side and client-side stuff.
It's often difficult to split the line between the use in server and
client side ... good design applies everywhere!
I would be interested in investigating the benefits COP in client-side apps.

I had also started to do something similar in exteca

so we could join forces ...
