being all of spice a bit of a sandbox, I would say that spice-apps is 
more in line with spice-lib.
but not really bothered either way.  
on this cvs module point - is there any thing that you were intending to 
do with the 'spice' module?
seems to me that spice-lib really could be spice and move to it the docs 
that are currently in spice.
