j2ssh opensource SshDaemon questions

I noticed today the help docs for the j2ssh opensource SshDaemon came off 
the community web site.  I am not sure why this is, could someone please 
explain?  Is the opensource version being currently maintained by anyone? 
Does the SshDaemon support linux?  If so, where can I get documentation on 
the proper way to set it up?  Thank you for your time and attention.
