using j2ssh for linux server

Hi,
I have to execute commands in remote servers,for which Im using 
j2ssh-0.2.5.I did not find any difficulty in accesing remote server from a 
client having OS Windows.But if I have my client server from where Ill be 
accesing other servers have OS as LINUX,I found that this API is not 
directly supporting the same.
I also found about the interface 
com.sshtools.j2ssh.authentication,which we have to implement according
to our requirements.
 
Could you please enlighten me on this about how should I go about with 
this ,if I want to execute commands in a remote server from a linux 
m/c?
