  With JDK 1.3.1 you need a separate package : JCE:
  http://java.sun.com/products/jce/index-122.html

  This is included with JDK 1.4.x but not with JDK1.3.1

    I am getting this error whenever I use j2ssh tool with JDK1.3.1. And works
    fine with JDK1.4.x. Is it true  that j2ssh0.2.2 version doesn't support JDK1.3.1? 

    But, the FAQ on sshtool's website claim it supports. Not sure
    which version the FAQ was talking about.
