Re: STrutsMenu & JSF

This is a limitation of JSF - you have to hit a page first to invoke a
method in a managed-bean.  See the passwordHint.jsp in AppFuse for an
example.  It's a hack, but it works.  Another option is to just use a
filter for a specified URL.
