Re: call javascript on MenuItem?

The example application has an onclick example:

        <Item name="Press" title="Press" location="?Press"
            onclick="alert('This item has an onclick handler in
menu-config.xml.')"/>

It looks like you're using Struts Layout - not Struts-Menu directory,
so it might be out of date.
