Unfortunately, even if you're not using Struts, you still need some 
Struts-related JARs in your classpath.  I think you need 
commons-digester, commons-collections and struts.jar.  In the next 
month or two, I plan on removing the dependency on struts.jar, but the 
other two will likely remain.
