Expandable Menu collapse when page refresh

Hi all,

I have developed my application using strutsmenu. i facing problem with the
expandable menu when the page refresh. The expandable menu collapse when
page refresh. I found out that the ids are different each time the page
reload this cause it unable to retrieve the cookies.

I have tried on example on this
http://demo.raibledesigns.com/struts-menu/dhtmlExpandable.jsp example. The
demo's menu also collapse after refresh. Is this a correct behavior or there
is a workaround for this?
